Have A Thankful Memorial Day

No, I won't wish you a happy one as this is not, at its core, a happy time. You fall into one of two categories - 1) you are missing a fallen loved one, or 2) the category I like to call 'doubly-blessed':  lucky enough to not suffer that loss, yet reaping the benefits bestowed on you by those who fell.

By all means, deeply enjoy your time with family this weekend; have some R&R and emerge refreshed and recharged.  You deserve it. Then thank a family that has lost their child/parent/spouse to military service, because they continue to pay the price daily.

See you next week.
